Platelet Rich Plasma – PRP

Platelets are part of human blood. So to obtain platelet-rich plasma, patient’s blood is withdrawn and processed in a centrifuge to get only the enriched cells or platelets (PRP). Under local anaesthesia, these are then injected into the scalp or bald areas using a special micro needle. After 3rd or 4th sitting a fuzz of hair appears on their scalp.

Platelet Rich Plasma contains essential growth proteins that boost the growth factors in blood cells to do their job and stimulate natural hair growth.

In most of the cases, 3 sessions are required but it all depends upon the amount of hair restoration required. Hair transplantation surgeon is the best person to evaluate the number of sittings required for successful hair restoration.
